Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 31 August 2026

These terms govern your use of our event pages and your registration for, or purchase of a ticket to, a Start Over event. By using these pages, registering, or buying a ticket, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the pages or buy a ticket.

They should be read alongside our Event Disclaimer, our Earnings and Income Disclaimer, and our Privacy Policy.

Who we are

START OVER MOVEMENT HOLDINGS LTD
5 Railway Terrace, Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 7AW
Registered in England and Wales, company number 16905154
Email: [email protected]

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean START OVER MOVEMENT HOLDINGS LTD, and "you" means the person using these pages or holding a ticket.

What these pages are

These are the event pages for Start Over live and online experiences. From them you can register for a free General Admission place, or buy a VIP or Super VIP ticket. Payment is taken on a secure checkout page provided by our payment provider.

Who can attend

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement. By registering or buying a ticket you confirm that you are doing so on your own behalf and that the information you give us is accurate and your own.

Tickets

General Admission. General Admission places are free and are strictly limited in number for each event. Where a place is offered free with a purchase of the Start Over book, you claim it by buying the book and submitting proof of purchase for us to verify. Free places hold no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable unless we agree otherwise in writing. Once the free allocation for an event is gone, it is gone.

VIP and Super VIP. These are paid tickets, limited in number, and each carries the specific benefits listed on the event page at the time you buy. Prices are shown on the event page in the currency stated there and include any tax that applies unless we say otherwise.

What is included. The benefits listed on the event page for your ticket type are what you are buying. Where a benefit is described as taking place in person and the event is later run online, we will tell you how that benefit is being honoured. Anything not listed is not included, including travel, accommodation, meals and personal expenses.

Buying a ticket

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract between us is formed when we send you a confirmation of your purchase, not when you submit the payment form.

Card payments are taken by our payment provider on their own secure page. We never see or store your full card number.

If a price is displayed incorrectly because of an obvious error, we are not obliged to sell at that price. We will tell you as soon as we can and give you the choice of confirming at the correct price or a full refund.

Cancellations and refunds

Paid tickets are non-refundable. This includes VIP and Super VIP tickets. Free tickets hold no cash value, so there is nothing to refund.

Your legal cancellation rights. If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel something you bought online. That right does not apply to contracts for services connected with leisure activities where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance, and a ticket to an event on a named date falls into that category. This is why our tickets are non-refundable. Nothing in these terms removes any refund or cancellation right you do have by law.

If we cancel. If we cancel an event outright and do not run it in any form, we will refund the ticket price you paid. We do not reimburse flights, hotels, transport or any other personal expenses. Our Event Disclaimer explains this further.

If we change an event. We may change the schedule, the content, the speakers, the venue or the format, including moving an event from in person to online or the other way round. Changes of that kind are not grounds for a refund. Where a change removes a benefit you paid for, we will tell you how it is being honoured instead.

Transferring your ticket

Tickets are personal to you. You may not resell a ticket, offer one for sale, or transfer one to someone else without our written agreement. We may refuse admission to anyone holding a ticket obtained in breach of this.

Attending an online event

For online events we send you joining details by email before the event. It is your responsibility to give us a working email address, to check your inbox including spam, and to have a device and internet connection good enough to take part. We are not responsible for your own connection, hardware or local restrictions preventing you from joining.

Behaviour at our events

We want everyone in the room, physical or virtual, to get value from the day. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, disruptive, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs to the point that they affect others. No refund is given in that situation.

Recording and intellectual property

Everything presented at our events, and all materials we give you, belong to us or to the person who created them. You may use them for your own purposes. You may not copy, republish, resell or share them, and you may not record, stream or broadcast any part of an event without our written permission.

Our events are photographed and recorded. Our Event Disclaimer explains what that means for you.

No guarantees

Our events are educational and inspirational. Stories, testimonials, results and examples from speakers, co-authors and attendees are provided for general information and inspiration. They are not financial, investment, legal, tax or other professional advice, and you should not rely on them as such.

Examples of what other people have achieved are not promises of what you will achieve. Our Earnings and Income Disclaimer covers this in full and forms part of these terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of these pages, your attendance at an event, or your reliance on anything said or shown at one. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Your personal information

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your ticket is the one published when you bought it. The current version is always the one on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in, and you may be able to bring proceedings there.
